Late Dinner {open}

Indago had straggled behind, the Great Hall was pretty much empty, except for Evan and herself. They were sitting together, eating their dinner of tomato soup. It was just the two of them, the candels were dimmed and the Great Hall reflected the starry night sky, it was kind of romantic.

Evan laid down his spoon, he didn't want anymore. He held Indago's hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb. He smiled, it was nice to be alone with Indago for once...

Indago dropped her spoon into her bowl of soup, then held Evan's other hand with her free one. She smiled softly. I love you Indago projected.

I love you too Evan projected, his brown eyes gazing into Indago's green ones. He leaned in and their lips met, suddenly, the doors burst open.

It was Redlum and Greene. Indago bolted up into a standing position and drew her wand. "Stupefy!" She cried, but to no prevail. It missed. Redlum lunged for her while Greene went after Evan.

Evan stood up, and punched the on-comming Greene. She cursed, then drew her wand, Evan beat her to it. "Give me an excuse." Evan spat. Greene laughed. "Don't use magic you can't control." Greene sneered. "Can't control? Crucio." said Evan. Greene fell to the ground, but got up. "Trying to use illegal curses eh? I'll show you how, you have to mean to cause pain. Crucio." Greene spat. Evan fell to the floor, screaming, it felt as if his skin were on fire... then it ended. Greene was laughing, Evan threw her onto the Ravenclaw table, causing it to snap in half, sending debris flying. A piece cut Evan below his eye, he winced. Greene seemed to be limp with shock.

"Avada Kedavra!" shouted Redlum, the spell missed her by inches and went soaring into the Slytherin table, causing it to shatter into a million pieces. Indago sheilded her eyes from debris, the turned into tiger form, then attacked. It gave her somewhat of an advantage. She sttacked Redlum. Then with one last swing of her mighty paw, sent him flying into the Gryffindor table, breaking it and adding more debris to the Great Hall. Redlum crumpled in a heap into a heap. Indago ran to aid Evan.

Greene grabbed a knife from the Hufflepuff table, then charged at Evan, cutting every bit of him she could reach. It didn't help that Evan had been knocked to the ground. Evan kicked Greene in the gut and got up. Wiping blood away from his eye, Evan got up, then began kicking Greene.

Indago joined in. This was fun now that the tables had turned. Greene got up, shaking. She ran to the knocked out Redlum, grabbed his wrist and they disapeared. Indago was shaking, her eyes traveled around the destroyed hall. The only tables left standing were the Hufflepuff and Staff ones. Debris was everywhere. She turned back into human form, then yanked a wood chip from her palm. It bled profusely.

Evan swayed dangerously, he had probably lost too much blood. He blacked out and fell to the debris and blood spattered floor.

"Evan!" Indago shrieked. She ran to his side and sat, placing his head into her lap. She used her Water Elemental to wipe off his face, Indago wasn't to good at healing magic, she wasn't even going to try. Somebody!!!! Help!!!! Indago projected. Hoping that somone anyone would hear her telepathic pleas for help.

Evan awoke slightly, his head in Indago's lap. "Baby, don't c-cry." Evan whispered, reaching up and drying the tears from Indago's cheeks.

That merely made Indago cry more. "Don't waste your strength, lay d-down." said Indago, forcing Evan to put his arm down. She cradeled his head in her hands, leaned in closer and kissed him gently.

Evan kissed back , gently pulling his hands through Indago's hair. He laid back down, head back on Indago's lap.

Indago wiped away blood from Evan's face, pulled debris from his hair. She softly pretended to be reassuring, but she was worried out of her mind.
